Calendar Shoots Begin!
This past sunday, Fernando of Fern Dog Training and I began shooting the first of 12 foster dogs for our 2nd annual fundraising calendar.
100% of proceeds from the calendar go to helping and raising awareness to a group of wonderful people who volunteer to save a bunch of wonderful dogs that deserve a good forever home.
If you know any active foster homes in the area that would like to participate, please contact myself or Fernando.
I am also making a donation to Fernando’s organization for every shoot booked that mentions the calendar. Here are a few teaser shots!
Grooming Day for MY Dirty Dogs!
I took my little guys to get groomed at Paw Palace in Red Bank today for the first time- boy was I impressed!
They loved the groomer Tina. Watt, known for being shy, gave her a kiss right away! They came out looking and smelling great.
Paw Palace also had a ton of great toys and treats that you cant find at the stripmall stores.
The girl who helped me pick out treats was very helpful too. Check out their website – The Dogspaw at Paw Palace .
Happy Friday!
After a few busy weeks of shooting, I gave myself the day off today to play with my own dogs.
But of course, I couldn’t put my camera down! So I decided to get out my old 50mm lens and have a little fun with my daschunds.
I hope everyone else is taking advantage of the great weather!
Need a Dog Trainer?
Give Fernando a call! Fern Dog Training has helped me train my own dogs and I refer my clients to him exclusively.
Fernando uses positive reinforcement and truly helps dog owners understand the behavior and mindset of a dog in a simple manner.
He is also very dedicated to helping shelter dogs and promoting positive doggy lifestyles through his non-profit,
The FernDog Rescue Foundation
Mork & Kong
I had the pleasure to photograph two mini daschund – poodle mix cuties recently, Mork and Kong.
Their owner is giving her husband a six foot tall wall mural of one of the shots for his birthday. What a great gift!
Here are some of my favorite shots from the session!
